NEW LINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR CONCERT IN THE PARK TONIGHT
Brian Ballentine & Friends, Jacob Golden, and Syncro to perform tonight instead of Mumbo Gumbo, Ricky Berger

SACRAMENTO, CA (June 27, 2008) – Brian Ballentine & Friends, Jacob Golden and Syncro will perform at the Friday Night Concert in the Park in Cesar Chavez Plaza tonight. Mumbo Gumbo and Ricky Berger, who were originally scheduled tonight, will perform during a special show on August 22.

About Tonight’s Bands
Opening act, Brian Ballentine & Friends, features former members of the late great Nevada Backwards and are a foot-stomping, rollicking, acoustic-driven alt-country/rock/bluegrass joy. Jacob Golden is the former signer/songwriter of the Sacramento Bands Birthday and Orisha, and just recently played South by Southwest to critical acclaim. Syncro will close tonight’s show. This high-energy rock-soul-jazz quartet features members from the Snobs, Frank Jordan and even guitarist Tyler Pope of Cake.
