I’m new in town—a transplant from NYC and, most recently, Barcelona, still trying to find my footing here on the West Coast. I’m a freelance writer, aspiring novelist, traveler.

For the past two years, I’ve kept a blog called “Skipping Town,” which chronicled my departure from NYC (selling all my stuff, quitting my job, breaking my lease in Brooklyn), my new life in Spain (my struggle to learn Spanish, my love affair with feisty Catalonia, dizzying amounts of travel), my reluctant move back to the U.S., and my even more reluctant relocation to Sacramento.
